Participatory Youth Action Research in the Urban Context

About
The goal of this workshop is to introduce young people with rapid research technique intended for community mapping. By using sociological and anthropological insights, participants will not only listen about the methodology but actively join the research process outdoors. Upon the completion of the workshop participants will be able to understand the importance of community mapping in youth work. This workshop can accommodate 16 young people who should be ready to spend some time outside the venue regardless of the weather conditions.
Facilitator
Marko Kovačić (CRO), PhD is a research fellow in youth studies at the Institute for Social Research in Zagreb and assistant professor at the University of Rijeka where he also teaches classes on young people. Marko actively participates in a number of youth policy initiatives at local, national and European level.
