SEE: Drawing Borders – Collective River and Border Mapping
Ta Politika / Workshop
About
Drawing Borders – Collective River and Border Mapping workshop aims to process the arbitrary and violent formation of borders by examining complex border phenomena in the West Balkans, researching tangible impacts of human meddling in river flows, and creating a short animation portraying the natural and man-made changes in the geography of river-borders. By engaging in discussion, research, and creative work we will try to grasp the environmental, spatial, and social impacts of human intervention on flowing water with a focus on intersectionality in order to build solidarity and notice these patterns in our own local communities.
